WRITING HISTORY
Working with words has been deeply ingrained into my soul blueprint for this lifetime. For the astrologers out there, both the sun and planet Mercury are in Gemini on my birth chart, which both relate to communication, as well as being ruled by the Butterfly Maiden Goddess (butterflies connect to communication). One of my strongest soul gifts in my Human Design profile also relates to communication and expression. Writing is incredibly cathartic and has been a great support on my healing journey, allowing me to open my heart and make sense of my own inner-scape and the world around me.
I have been writing since I was tiny and would often spend my time getting swept away in my own stories. I then went on to write my own youth column in a local paper as a teenager and have had numerous personal blogs. Additionally, I spent 10 years working as a Copywriter in the fashion and retail industries, including spending four years in the content team at Harrods. During this time, I gained experience writing product descriptions, website copy, marketing emails, and blog articles, for categories including womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, beauty, sports, homeware, and gifts. A big part of my spiritual practice also involves journalling and exploring various writing arts, including writing/reading poetry, and poring over the words of mystics, sages and Sufis. Plus, getting lost in a book shop is always good for soul. Words have always been an inspiration and muse for me and in turn they allow me to share Love with the world. Furthermore, I have been published in Witches magazine six times with pieces relating to spirituality, and one day, I hope to pen my own book and create my own oracle deck.
CONSCIOUS COMMISSIONS
I would always welcome the opportunity to share my story, and I am always open to article commissions on topics I have a keen interest in such as spirituality, self-love, self-care, menstrual health and holistic wellbeing. I can also combine any assignment with my energy work, and I will always work within a ceremonial environment so every piece receives the magic it deserves.
